I was once told that "whatever happens, always happens for the best".
Well, whether it really happened for the best or not is relative.
Whatever happened 19 years ago today, marked a steep learning curve for me.
With where I am today and who I have turned out to be, I'd say I passed with flying colours.
This blog post is just to mark an unforgettable day!

My dear Pat, Thank you for that. Validating what I feel inside of me.
It's taken me a long time to realise that. For some years, I was beating myself up because some people were telling me, I was doing it wrong.
They never walked in my shoes but felt qualified to give me advice.
Fortunately, I have selective hearing and I shut out all those little voices of gloom and doom.
I took the road less travelled (so to speak) and along the way, I met lovely beings. You are one of them. *smiles*
I had not expected any comment here because I already put up the next post so it took me by surprise to see yours at 5.39 am. Good Lord!!!! :)
