I can never say "A whole new world" without hearing the music that goes with it. Most, if not everyone, would know this phrase from the movie "Aladdin".
Here are the lyrics, which I think, aptly, describes the relationship with all things/people in cyberspace.
I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me princess, now when did
You last let your heart decide?
I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride
A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming
A whole new world
A dazzling place I never knew
But, now, from way up here
It's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you
Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feeling
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky
A whole new world
(Don't you dare close your eyes)
A hundred thousand things to see
(Hold your breath it gets better)
I'm like a shooting star
I've come so far
I can't go back to where I used to be
A whole new world
With new horizons to pursue
I'll chase them aywhere
There's time to spare
Let me share this whole new world with you
A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming
A whole new world
(Every turn a surprise)
With new horizons to purue
(Every moment red-letter)
I'll chase them anywhere
There's time to spare
Anywhere, there's time to spare
Let me share this whole new world with you
Let me share this whole new world with you
For you and me
This is exactly how I feel being connected to the cyberworld.
Strangely, I am always connected to my virtual friends because we are in touch frequently. We know what's going on in each other's life via emails, facebook or twitter. Some consider it cold and sterile but I think it's acceptable. Time and distance is never a factor. Everyone is just only an sms or click away.

To my virtual friends,
I know who you are. Thank you for being a part of my life. And I love you for all the support and encouragement (and patience).
Peace!!!

Nothing can replace analog hugs, Lita. But when unavailable we make do with virtual snogs! Hope to see (and hug) Stephen & You real soon :-) xox
Antares my dear, I would never have believed that "snog" woule be a legitimate word. Hahaha.
I actually checked it up! Now I'm smiling.
I can't wait to tell Stephen about snogging. ;) xox

Jarod, I can't ever forget you because of your unique name. ;)
Overall, it's good and that is what counts most of all.
Take care! :)
Hugs to you, Lita! :)
Crankster, You know me like I know you! Sama sama! :)
Ditto, dear Lita...
Hugs to you.
On a more serious note,I am about to ask you for an act of kindness. Another lady blogger has brought to my attention that A\a fellow blogger is suffering from a kind of cancer and she could lose her eyesight if she doesn't get enough money for her operation. I have tagged you to do a meme to create awareness of her condition. Please visit my blog for details tomorrow as I am scheduling my meme for 6 am tomorrow (Sunday) and have tagged you, Crankster, Chahya and Michelle. Thanks.
Take care.
Blessings to you and yours.
Whoa there! Snogging eh???! Hahahah!
You are so right here, Lita. Thank god for cyberspace - or I'd never have any friends at all!
Hugs to you, and all on this page :)
Paula, Thanks for the hugs. About the meme, let me see if I can get it done. This copying and pasting thing always doesn't work out well for me and I don't know how to edit the html codes. I'll do my best, okay. :)
Blessings to you too!
Patricia, Why so humble one? Your friends know you are always there, either in the real or virtual world!
Anyway, about the snogging, er.... Stephen thinks it's too delicious a word to forget. ;)
Sending hugs back at ya.
